An appeals court in Atlanta upheld a $2.1 million verdict awarded to the victim of a defective Wright Medical Group hip implant. The case had been the first bellwether trial in nationwide litigation involving these dangerous devices, but had been on appeal since the verdict was rendered in 2015. Wright
